The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks (5 stars) - This book is about the unchanging love of Noah Calhoun and Allie Hamilton from the early teenage years, to their lives as withered old people in a nursing home. The Notebook is the actual book that follows their lives and and tells their extraordinary tale of how love never dies. It flashes back to life in the 1950's to the present; therefore providing the reader with an exquisite taste of social hierarchy, war, and of course: love.
no, it's actually a really quick read i thought. and i can't say that it's better than the movie because i absolutely love that movie more than any other romantic movie. I would say it was equally as good as the movie. You should read it!!!!
I enjoyed this book, but I confess that I do like the movie better. Something about Ryan Gossling and Rachel McAdams as the main characters. Good read too though!
I like the book much more than the movie. The movie leaves out so much and the ending is misleading. I definatley recommend reading it. There is also a sequal that I highly recommend if you like The Notebook. It's called The Wedding.
