The book Luxe is about wealthy high-class life in Manhattan during the 19th century. The women and men are expected to marry not out of love, but out of the social status of the other. This book shows a lot of different points of view. It tells the story of many different characters. So far I have enjoyed reading it, and I recommend it to those who love drama and romance.
I LOOOOOVEE THIS BOOK!! In my opinion it was equally as good as the Twilight series. Henry and Diana are my favorite characters because of their forbidden love. :)
ReplyDeleteI love historical, girly reads like this, but I was disappointed with the end of the series. Definitely worth trying as a fast, fun read though.
