The Importance of being Earnest by Oscar Wilde is a short and sweet satisfying read. It is about two men, Jack and Algernon, pursuing women, Gwendolen and Cecily, who both think that they are in love with men named Earnest. The story is full of romance and comedy, and it has a wonderful conclusion. I would recommend it to anyone interested in reading plays, or who are just looking for a funny, endearing story.
We are thinking about reading this as a class during junior year. Do you think other students would like it???
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Although, girls would probably enjoy it more than guys.
