The Great Wide Sea is about a boy named Ben Byron and his father and two brothers. This story tells about the adventures this family takes out on the open sea after they leave home once the mother of their family passes away. To add to the drama, the father is lost at sea and the brothers must work together to stay alive through a horrendous storm. This book sounds very intense and will enjoy reading it.
The lightning thief was a great book. It was about a boy who developed semi-godly abilities, and his stuggles and challenges with those powers.
