Floor Above the Roof

Set in the elevator lobby of a wholesale warehouse in Manhattan, four workers struggle to understand themselves and their world. The author has taken contemporary language and raised it to a new level. A compassionate drama on one act, a mixture of humor and pathos with language both poetic and street-wise. confined within the elevator. It shows blue collar workers throughout their day. It becomes heated when these men fight for their own survival.
